Yield: 4 servings
  • 3 lbs pork butt
  • 1 Tbsp liquid smoke
  • 1 Tbsp Two Snooty Chefs Alaea Hawaiian Sea Salt
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 banana leaf
  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. Pierce the pork butt all over with small knife then rub with liquid smoke, Two Snooty Chefs Alaea Hawaiian Sea Salt, and vegetable oil
  3. Wrap pork butt in banana leaf and place in large casserole dish, cover and roast for 2 ½ – 3 hours
  4. Remove from oven, uncover, and remove banana leaf cover from pork
  5. Shred with two forks and serve – great with coconut rice and oven roasted yams or on a toasted sandwich roll
