Yield: 6 servings
  • ½ C soy sauce
  • ¼ C orange juice
  • ¼ C white wine
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Two Snooty Chefs Japanese 7 Spice
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs cut in half lengthwise
  • ¼ C chicken broth
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  1. Combine soy sauce, orange juice, wine, brown sugar, and Two Snooty Chefs Japanese 7 Spice in a saucepan and bring to a simmer to dissolve sugar – cool
  2. Once soy mixture is cool, add chicken thighs and marinate 1-2 hours
  3. Remove chicken from marinade, place pieces on wooden skewers which were previously soaked in water ½ hour to prevent skewers from burning when placed on grill
  4. Place remaining marinade in a small saucepan, bring to a simmer, add cornstarch which has been mixed with the chicken stock, stir to combine
  5. Grill chicken skewers until 165° F internal temperature,  brush with Two Snooty Chefs Japanese 7 Spice sauce and serve
